What’s
the USA Attracting Now?Instead of writing this issue in the morning, which is when I set time
aside for it, I spent the day watching President Barack Obama take the oath
of office, and glad I did!
After hearing his speech, watching the parade and feeling the excitement of
the changing guard, it seemed appropriate to share a
law of
attraction perspective on the day's events.
First, anyone remember
Oprah's radio interview last November where she shared the request
Michelle Obama made of her (and Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver) before
the election? Michelle asked them to "envision Barack Obama
taking the oath of office."
Which delights me to no end, musing that our new presidential couple may be
active deliberate creators! (Because if Michelle's doing it, I gotta
imagine she's clued hubby in, too.)
During his inaugural speech today, President Obama said a couple of things
that resonated with the practice of conscious creation:
He mentioned keeping "eyes fixed on the horizon." (Which reflects the deliberate creation principle of focusing on where you're going and what you want, rather than getting caught up in current problems.)
Regarding upcoming challenges, President Obama said those challenges WILL be met, maybe not in a short span of time, but they WILL be met. (Reflecting commitment to purpose along with allowing on the time frame.)
He rejects as false that we have to choose
between safety and our ideals. (Of course we can have both!
Unlimited and empowered thinking!)
President Obama said critics sometimes forget what happens when "imagination
joins a common purpose." Well, WE know what happens when we
lead with imagination, especially collectively: quantum leaps!
And boy, were we united today! Not just many Americans, but
millions of people across the globe viewed the transition of power in the
U.S. today with newly revived hope and optimism for the future.
Imagine what the HeartMath folks (who measure the collective vibe)
registered on the instruments at noon eastern today?!
All of which makes me wonder what the U.S. is vibrating now?
I know it's not unanimous, but I sure see lots of signs of Excitement,
Unity, Progress, Hope, and Change flowing stronger than before!
However, the bottom line, as
Abraham reminds us, is that we're best off when we remember not
to make anyone else responsible for our own happiness and success.
No one else can do that for us. We are each individually responsible
for what we vibrate, and thus create.
And your vibrational power can't be abdicated or given away.
So whether you're excited about the direction the newly elected leader of
the U.S. takes (or not), what matters is where YOU take the world with YOUR
expectations.
I personally believe we're in store for lots of good things. That's my
story, and I'm confidently sticking to it. :)
