When starting with a new client, one of the first things I ask is what
manifesting rituals they currently use. For example, some folks visualize
their day ahead before they open their eyes, others listen to recorded
affirmations on the way to work, others don't have any habits in place at
all.
Or so they think.
The fact is we all have manifesting rituals in place already.
We may not be aware of them, and they may not be bringing what we want,
but I guarantee each of us has manifesting habits in place already.
Whether they serve us or not is another question!
Here are a few examples of the manifesting habits and rituals we
unconsciously engage:
These examples might not sound like insidious manifesting habits, but
they each have a way of either negating our manifesting power or employing
it in the service of what we DON'T want.
Focusing on declining money, weighing yourself down with "should" thoughts,
mentally anticipating ruin or disaster, not giving yourself credit for the
amazing person you are - there are lots of ways we hold ourselves out of the
sweet spot of easy, successful deliberate creation.
The good news?
It's easy to become aware of your unconscious rituals and start to change
them. All it takes is a willingness and intention to be aware,
notice without judgment what you see, and then commit
to a plan to change the habit.
(That's where a coach often comes in handy!)
The bottom line is that until we're willing to truly see how we're using our
mind power, we continue to sabotage ourselves, all the while wondering why
things don't go our way.
