Deciding
What It's Gonna BeWhen I toyed with the idea of allowing group course participants to set
their own tuition, so that no one was excluded because of financial
concerns, I was warned by several sources not to do it.
"It will fail. People will take advantage. You won't get engaged
participants. You'll waste your time."
In fact, a couple of naysaying thoughts even came from my own gremlins!
But inspiration was strong for this project, and I knew that it
could be whatever I chose for it to be. I could pick
failure and waste of time or I could pick
incredible success and tremendously fulfilling.
Oscar winning actor Will Smith reminded us (in
a 2007 interview) that all we have to do is make a choice,
to just decide what it's gonna be. Will said he can create
whatever he wants to create; that for him two plus two doesn't equal four -
it equals what he wants it to be.
I totally get that!
So I decided that for me it would be
that a participant-set tuition for an open forum group would be more
professionally rewarding, financially lucrative, and successful for
participants than anything I've done before.
And even though it's only been four days since I announced the
Money Mojo Magic Party, it's evident this will indeed be the case (and
then some).
This is not only the biggest party I've ever hosted, but is
also revealing incredible levels of participant engagement and enthusiasm.
(Which is sayin' something, since my groups are already known for
high energy & engagement!) PLUS it's also shaping up to be an
impressive financial boon.
Those who warned me not to do this might be surprised at these results, but
I'm not. Because it's what I decided.
Which leads me to ask YOU:
I invite you to look at an area in life you're dissatisfied with, and to
opt out of whatever's keeping you from experiencing exactly what you want.
You have the power to choose something new!
So break some rules. Raise some eyebrows. Turn this place upside
down by deciding how you want it to be.
Above all, please remember this:
There has
never been a greater time to successfully flex your
manifesting muscle. And I know it sounds trite, but the joy really is
in the journey. That journey becomes much more enjoyable when
we learn to navigate it masterfully through deliberate creation.
Ready to rock this house?!
